Able Voice Podcast

“Planting seeds in a growing field.”

Conversations that hold space for reflection, curiosity, and connection.

The Able Voice Podcast is a place for thoughtful dialogue within and beyond the music therapy community. Each episode invites listeners into conversations that explore lived experience, professional identity, creativity, care, and the many ways we navigate our work and ourselves.

Hosted by music therapists who value honesty over perfection, The Able Voice Podcast centers voices that are often nuanced, evolving, and deeply human. We believe in slowing down, asking meaningful questions, and creating room for perspectives that don’t always have easy answers.

Whether you’re a music therapist, a student, a creative, or someone curious about wellness and care, you’re welcome here.

AVP Debriefs

Introduced in Season 2, the Able Voice Debriefs were created as a companion space to our main episodes — a place to pause and linger with what emerged in each conversation. In these candid reflections, we return to the themes, questions, and insights that stayed with us after the recording ended, tending to the seeds planted in each interview and noticing how they continue to grow within a wider, evolving field.

Rather than offering polished conclusions, the Debriefs invite space for curiosity, resonance, and unfolding. We hope these conversations meet you where you are and offer something meaningful to carry forward in your own way.
