Group Presentations & Workshops

Over the last few years I have developed a keen interest for hosting workshops and presentations. It all started when I was asked to speak about Anti-oppressive practices to several music therapy teams and creative arts organisations. The feedback from that workshop continued to build traction and allowed opportunities to present on other topics such as:

  • Self Care: A Creatives Guide for Avoiding Burnout

    • Musicians, dancers, actors, and artists of all kinds usually put self-care on the back burner in the pursuit of their passions. Eventually, that creative adrenaline wears off and we need tools to manage life outside of flow state.

  • Music as self-care

    • There are many psychosocial and physiological benefits that we access when engaging in music. This can be through passive listening to music, this can be through actively engaging in music with others, this can be even simply going to a musical event. What would happen if we knew how to utilize these benefits for our own self-care practices?

  • LOUD: Identifying your call to action in the fight for equity, diversity, and cultural humility

    • This program specifically gives strategies for:

      • Being an ally,

      • Knowing how to respond to conflict (when intention and impact don't match),

      • When you don't know the right thing to say,

      • When you don't feel like the right person to speak up... and more.

  • Life as a music therapist

  • Music to support Ageing Adults

  • Personal Branding

    …AND MORE.

Here are a few organizations I have presented to in the past:
